I am blessed and honored to have been elected as the 2008-2009 Chairman of the Board for the Upland Chamber of Commerce.

I feel good leadership starts with serving others. I strive to show good leadership by serving the members of the chamber, and it is my desire that the Chamber continue its leadership through serving the business community of the wonderful city of Upland.

We will continue to provide our members networking opportunities. Including after horus Mixers, First Friday, Monthly Business Luncheons, and special events which will continue to be successful with you support.

We will also partner with our neghboring chambers to monitor job killer bills. We will be looking at how energy and water resources will affect our businesses presently and in the future.

I would encourage our members and residents to find opprotunities to serve within our Chamber. Contributing your time, talent and resources is the key to future sucess. On e fo the best ways to find your place is to participate in our Leadership Development program. As alumni of the valuable program, I can say without hesitation it is very worth while.

On behalf of your board of directors and myself, I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and going to work for you, our members. Your chamber membership is still the best value that you can provide for the growth and protections fo your own business.
