The City of Upland is continuing to build its relationships with business owners and managers, and industrial and commercial property owners throughout the city. Programs that have been initiated to assist new and existing businesses to meet the daily challenges in order to remain competitive and succeed in today's economic climate include:

Development Guide
Upland has prepared the "Development Guide" to assist in expediting the development, expansion or remodeling of business facilities. This user-friendly guide will assist those unfamiliar with the development process to navigate their project through the City's entitlement and/or building permit procedures.

Rental Recognition Program
The City of Upland has introduced a Five Star Rental Recognition Program. The primary goal of the program is to recognize multi-family rental properties. The benefits to the community of maintaining properties in excellent condition results in neighborhoods where blight, substandard structures, crime and general code violations are reduced and property values increase. Awards of recognition are presented to landlords of qualifying apartments. For information, contact the Redevelopment Department at 909.931.4300.
