Looking back on the History of the Upland Chamber of Commerce it was noted that we were founded as early as 1910 by a group of civic minded businessmen in the community. Many years passed and the Upland Chamber of Commerce was incorporated August 8, 1963.

Carrying on a rich tradition of being the premiere organization to represent our business community we currently represent over 450 business members.

The Upland Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of the business community, a public relations arm of the City and Upland's "front door" where visitors come and are greeted warmly and given information. This information includes not only local sites and areas to visit but also a source of information for business and residential relocation to our City.

Leading business men and women have participated as Board of Directors, Committee Chairs and volunteers. We have been proudly served by 29 Past Presidents, now Chairman of the Board, many of whom served several terms of office. We have a board consisting of 15 Directors who set policy and direction for the Chamber each fiscal year and our President/CEO who implements policy along with a qualified and dedicated staff.

As a Voice of the Business Community our Government Relations Forum keeps a watchful eye on legislature that pertains to business and our Economic Development Forum works closely with the City in promoting Upland's commercial and industrial future.
