Upland Chamber Advocacy in Action
Letters of Support and Opposition
On behalf of the Upland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, we want to inform our members that the Board has officially signed a coalition letter opposing Assembly Bill 566. AB 566 proposes a new mandate requiring internet browsers to prominently display a setting that allows users to send businesses an opt-out request for data sharing. If passed, this legislation could severely limit your ability to reach current and potential customers—especially those most likely to purchase your products and services. We stand united in protecting California businesses from policies that threaten growth and economic vitality.

Legislative updates
Upland Chamber is Opposing/ supporting the following Bills, Measures, & Propositions
The Upland Chamber of Commerce, proudly representing over 300 businesses in Inland Southern California, is here today to voice significant concerns regarding Proposed Amended Rules 1111 and 1121. These proposed changes pose a substantial financial burden on small businesses and property owners, threatening their ability to remain competitive and sustain operations. As a vital advocate for our local business community, we urge decision-makers to carefully consider the economic impact these rules could have and explore more balanced solutions that support both environmental goals and the economic vitality of our region.
Please send your letters to our State and local officials so they know how their constituents are feeling:
