I’m Michael Delgado, a financial advisor with Edward Jones. I focus on financial strategies and investment advice for individuals and business owners. As your financial advisor, it’s important that I help you create strategies to accomplish your financial goals while being a valuable resource to you and those you care about.
I’m a Southern California native, born in Los Angeles. My family moved from North Hollywood to Pomona in the early 1990s and then to Upland in the early 2000s, where I reside today. I have three dogs: two Siberian Huskies and an Alaskan Malamute who help keep me busy and active. I enjoy an active and outdoor lifestyle — hiking, camping and exploring mountain trails with my dogs, and snowboarding at winter resorts across the western United States. My other hobbies include golf, chess, running, travel and road trips.
I have over 11 years of experience in the financial industry, starting at Bank of America. From there, I became a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch before coming to Edward Jones.
I also help with a family business my parents started 29 years ago in Upland, where we take care of elderly with Alzheimer’s and dementia and adults with developmental disabilities. I’m also a proud member of the Upland Chamber of Commerce and a Rotarian with the Claremont Chapter of Rotary International.
I’m passionate about bringing structure and stability to hardworking professionals’ financial path and future, so they can spend time on what’s most important to them. It’s also important to understand the level of risk you’re comfortable accepting when investing and balance it with the steps necessary to reach your long-term goals.
